Me Myself and I

'We struggled for so long to get him accepted anywhere, no one wanted to know. This is the BEST thing he has ever got involved with. He feels valued and he is turning up and committed!!!'' Project participants guardian.

Me, Myself and I… a project led by a group of marginalised, feisty and seriously talented teenagers from a town in the North of England.

This year long project used creative processes to explore identities, hopes, dreams and fears. The group used photography and visual arts to reflect on who they are, and the people and places that are most important to them.  The project was a powerful tool for young people who felt lost to build connection with peers, and build a more powerful picture of who they are, and who they want to be in the world. Their stunning work and thoughts were presented via 3 exhibitions in public galleries at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Bridge Arts and Wakefield Theatre Space and a publication.
