The Bloom Room was an action research project with young people in Alternative Education in the North of England. A small group of students (excluded from mainstream education) worked with a creative team and staff at the Alternative Education Centre to consider and present their ideas about how we could transform education to better support their learning and achievement.  The Bloom Room was presented to decision-makers leading educational reform as a part of national (UK) initiative (Building Schools for the Future) via an inspirational ‘learning lab’ exhibition and a Bloom Room publication.
