Creative Collaborative is a group of like-minded people who work together to make imaginative transformational projects happen in all kinds of places.

We do participatory projects using the arts to fire up passions, build skills, tell untold stories, look at life with fresh eyes, and grow caring connected communities.

Rangatahi who are having a tough time have a special place in our hearts, and lots of our work is about partnerships with youth to make changes they want to see in their world.

We believe in a thriving arts sector through providing sustainable opportunities to artists and other creatively aligned professionals.

We do research and development work designed to build our collective expertise and impact, and grow the potential of the arts in our communities.

Research and evaluation are really important to us. All our work is thoroughly evaluated, and draws from (and adds to) a substantial international research and evidence base.

Our work is definitely not just about ‘nice to have’ art projects. It occupies the spaces where arts, creativity, health, youth, community, education, social innovation, and activism meet. It always sets out to leave a lasting legacy and make a positive difference in the world.
